｜モードからの思想｜Modism Statement｜
“瞬間の感覚や想いを線や形に還元する”――それが私の創作の原点です。
「モード思想＝Modism（モディズム）」は、私の創作に通底する感覚の呼称です。
Modism Statement ―モディズムの流儀―
～形に触れる世界の余白/線が紡ぐ瞬間のかたち～
Mode：モード｜ファッションの領域では「流行」や「ファッションそのもの」を指す言葉。
ここでは、感性や思考の次元に及ぶ姿勢、時代や瞬間の感覚を纏う態度として捉えている。
Modism：モディズム｜Modeの核心を抽出。世界を写すのではなく、感じ取り、選び、形にする態度。形態だけでなく思考や主題においても、すべては必然的に最小限へと還元される。
線は説明ではなく、瞬間の決意と想いの現れ。
必要な要素を選び取り形作った線が、想いの軌跡となる。
形は現実より少し鋭く、美しい。
フォルムは創作の中で新たな命を得、その本質が際立つ。
それは「こう見えた」という記憶であり、「こうありたい」という願いです。
必要だけを残し、余韻を誘う。――世界の輪郭を感じる瞬間。
それこそが、生きることの深度に触れる創作の醍醐味だと感じるのです。
●決断の姿勢
直感と感覚を信じ、必要な要素だけを残すことで、作品に純度と強さが生まれる。
後悔もまた表現の余白として受け入れ、前に進むための一歩にする――そんな決断です。
●線と形の意味
線はその瞬間の感覚を記録するものであり、形は思考や記憶を表現するものです。
線に残るタッチに、目の前の現実と心の中の理想、記憶や感情の余韻が宿ります。
●日常とのつながり
モード思想は、制作中だけでなく、日々の生活や観察、体験の中にも根ざしています。
日常の何気ない風景や出来事も、この感覚で見つめることで、世界の解像度が変わります。
●制作の志向
現実に囚われすぎず、記憶や願いを重ね、作品に深みと余韻を与えること。
不要なものを削ぎ、必要な要素だけを残すことで、作品に強さと多面性が生まれます。
Modism（モディズム）は、私の創作と日々の感覚の基盤です。
線や形に込める瞬間の想い、決断の哲学、そして日常や経験とのつながりを言葉にしました。

-“Modism” is the name I give to the underlying sensibility that permeates my work.
Modism Statement - The Principles of Modism -
~ Negative space where forms touch the world / The shape of a moment spun by lines ~
・Mode: In the realm of fashion, this term refers to "trends" or "fashion itself."
I interpret it as an attitude that extends to the dimensions of sensibility and thought—a way of wearing the spirit of the era and the sensations of the moment upon one's very being.
・Modism: The extraction of the core of "Mode." It is an attitude not of merely mirroring the world, but of perceiving, selecting, and giving it form. Whether in physical shape, thought, or subject matter, everything is inevitably reduced to its minimum.
A line is not an explanation; it is a manifestation of a moment's resolve and emotion.
The lines, formed by selecting only the necessary elements, become the trajectory of my thoughts.
Forms are sharper and more beautiful than reality.
Within the act of creation, form acquires new life, and its essence is brought into focus.
It is a memory of "how it appeared" and a wish for "how it should be."
Retaining only the essential, inviting resonance. — The moment of sensing the world’s contours.
I feel that this is the true essence of creation: touching the very depth of existence.
●Approach to Decision-Making
By trusting intuition and sensation, and leaving only the essential elements, a work gains purity and strength. I accept regret as the "negative space" of expression—a step forward to keep evolving.
●The Meaning of Line and Form
A line is a record of a sensation at that precise moment; a form is an expression of thought and memory. Within the touch left in a line, the reality before me, the ideals within my heart, and the echoes of memory and emotion reside.
●Connection to Everyday Life
The philosophy of Modism is rooted not only in the studio but also in daily life, observation, and experience. By viewing even the most mundane scenery or events through this lens, the resolution of the world shifts.
●Creative Intent
To layer memory and aspiration without being overly confined by reality, giving the work depth and resonance. By distilling the elements and leaving only what is necessary, the work achieves both strength and multifacetedness.
